The Channel Bay dive site on the southern side of Lady Julia Percy Island gets its name from the long thin channel that runs between the cliff face and the reef platform to the north-east. It is only about 6 metres deep but a fascinating snorkel opportunity, and one of few to be recommended at the island.

In the centre of Channel Bay is a good sized cave running into/under the cliff. The rock and boulder bottom within is quite bare, but it is big enough to accomodate a boat on the right day. (If you lose GPS reception you have gone in too far, or your boat is upside down, or both!)
